CARE’s first meeting of the semester

January 19, 2010

CARE is having our first regular staff meeting of the semester, at 9:30pm, in LC104. We would love for you to attend — whether you’re committed to spending the semester with us, or you’re just wondering what we do. Today we’ll go over projects that are in progress, new projects we’re getting started on, ideas for the semester, and we’ll get to know each other a bit better.

A little bit more about our group, in case you’d like an update: We are an organization that advocates for international development and poverty alleviation through events, publications, and initiatives on- and off-campus. The College Council for CARE at Yale was CARE International’s first-ever college advocacy group, and we are proud to have a strong relationship with the international non-profit. We have opportunities to write, edit, teach, fundraise, plan events, and more. And in addition to the projects from last year that we are planning to continue, we are always open to new ideas, and hope to expand our initiatives by utilizing your creativity and passion! Feel free to e-mail elizabeth.bershad@yale.edu if you’d like more information.
