Message from Yale’s Relief Efforts for Haiti

Ways to Help Haiti:

Benefit Concert, Monday, January 18: Many members of the Yale community have committed to a benefit concert on Monday, January 18, at 7:30 in Woolsey Hall. The performers include Yale Bands, Glee Club and Symphony, Yale Gospel Choir, Shades, Whim ‘N Rhythm, the Whiffenpoofs, Schola Cantorum and others. Contributions will go toward the Red Cross and other relief groups responding to the devastation in Haiti.

Performers who want to volunteer for the “Help Can’t Wait Haiti” benefit concert should contact Director of University Bands Thomas Duffy at thomas.c.duffy@yale.edu.

A committee with representatives from more than 12 Yale organizations and with guidance from Dean Pamela George and University Chaplain Sharon Kugler has been formed to plan future events and coordinate volunteer opportunities.
