Microfinance Engagement Task-Force Opportunity for Development Month

January 8, 2010

Here’s an opportunity to get involved in the planning of Global Development Month, this February 2010:

“One of the projects that will be occurring during international development month, in February, is a microfinance engagement project. Essentially, the goal of the project is to get individuals in the Yale community to invest in microfinance, with a suggested goal of 15,000 dollars. In order to put the project into action a microfinance task force is being created. An outline of the responsibilities, structure, and a time line for the task-force is provided in the attached word document proposal. The task-force will start meeting in early January (January 13th) and meet through the end of February. If you are interested in participating in the task-force (and there is a need for people at both the three-to-four hour time commitment level and the more demanding three-to-four hour a week leadership level) please email David Kastelman at david.kastelman@yale.edu by January 11th.”
