Reporter: Nicholas Kristof in the Congo

On Thursday, February 24, The College Council for Care will screen the film “Reporter”–a feature documentary about Nicholas Kristof. It tracks Kristof during a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the film explores his methods as well as the horrifying issues that arise in the DRC conflict. The filmmakers contextualize the story amidst the decline of real journalism and a reporter’s challenge in making Americans care about this humanitarian crisis. The event will take place at 7 pm in LC 101.

Note: Nicholas Kristof will be speaking at Yale on April 5 at 4:30 pm in the Sterling Law Building Auditorium.
